Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that it looks like my issue has been resolved and everything is good. I contacted the live support at exactly 9am this morning (as soon as they opened) to hopefully avoid any wait, luckily I was placed 5th in line and after about 15 minutes I was contacted with someone.
I explained the situation, as well as linked this thread to him so he could see that this is indeed a serious issue and that a lot of people are having the same problem. He linked me to a page http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...la=1&kid=68225 to fill out a ticket but luckily for me I had already filled out the forums days earlier, he asked me for the reference number which I wrote down and after about 2 minutes he told me that he had escalated my ticket and that I wouldn't need to contact them again about this issue.
I played until about noon, then went out to do some errands, I came home, checked my mog station and it looks like everything has been fixed! I still have both accounts there (like many others have said) and I expect account 2 to be removed in the near future, all of the collectors items as well as my game time was moved to the first account. Also the time on the account was reset back to 31 days even though it had dropped to about 28 from the time I registered it.
I am trying to log into the game now just to be 100% certain that everything is as it should be but sadly the servers are again full so I don't have total confirmation but it is looking good.

And now I'm officially upset. Verizon dropped the call after 4 hours. I feel like such a fool waiting in chat for 2 hours, then for 4 hours on the phone. I cannot believe that no one at Square-Enix is addressing any concerns publicly and is just leaving everyone in the dark. Please give an update to stop people from panicking. I have tried to be patient and understanding this entire time, but it is not right the way we're being treated. I can deal with server issues, that's expected, what's not expected is game registration and support stuck in 2002.
IT IS NOT RIGHT FOR A MAJOR COMPANY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS.
On the phone for a little over 4 and a half hours and someone finally answered. The guy was nice, confirmed my issue and escalated the ticket. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. I think SE should extend the EA period for a few days, regardless.
