Yes I know, indeed I can, but I bought a PS3 copy so I can play while not on my computer. The intention is to be able to play on PS3, however if the purchase on PS3 deemed inability to play, it is an issue that SE and Sony will need to sort out. It isn't just me though, I would take a gander that many people facing this issue are those also have either Windows client looking to supplement their service account with another platform, or they have service account from Beta 3/4/EA and now the PS3 copy seems to have difficulty to link its (PS3) license up to SQEX.
I think we'll only be able to play when they replace the game on psn.
Now we deserve the same treatment that NA players receiveid...Refund and free game!
And i'm serious...i'm feeling insulted by SE.They act like they don't care about us...

Yup thats what I'm thinking. We'll only be able to play it once the digital game is back up on psn.
I'll be honestly surprised however if they refund us and give us a free game. Although that would be pretty nice. In any case I just really want this to get fixed as soon as possible.
I'm giving it another day (or so) if not happening, I will call up PlayStation NZ and request for a refund... My concern now is, I have a PS3 CE copy here that I'm reserving for my partner's account should he wants to play it... With all these PSN/SQEX ordeal, I'm not sure if the pre-printed 4-4-4 code will be useful, or be "invalid"... O_OYup thats what I'm thinking. We'll only be able to play it once the digital game is back up on psn.

its funny i just realize that when we enter the game first time the terms and rules we have to accept are designated for Terms and rules US/NA nothing mentions europe...maybe this is part of the problem...maybe our game it's the "wrong" game.
this explain a lot....
our accounts are european, if the game we bought were a US version we wouldnt be able to register because US version of the game can only be register in US accounts and EU version of the game to European account... and we know that some european/us players have received wrong zone codes

I did see that but I discarded the thought as *ahem* I didn't read into every word on EULA... But then, it could be the case that the EULA is generalised as well?
At least Yoshi-P announced free days for all for the trouble http://www.xivnation.com/news/218000...e-days-coming/
Still haven't got in the game since B4... but oh well, playing MMO for over over a decade i understand the launch disasters, what can happen.
