Idea to fix the lack of tanks in the duty finder

Tanks will always be the least played archetype because there's a lot of pressure to doing the job and it's not especially gratifying for most people. There are no big numbers, you'll never "top the meters", etc.

Tanks are usually expected to lead the group (and they should), and most people just don't want that responsibility.

I was this way as well, but once you start getting up past lvl 30 the DF is Much Much slower, last night for haukke manor and Brayflox my queue as a healer was 25 minutes. So I think at higher levels right now its the tanks that aren't queuing.

Me and a friend, both playing DPS (ARC and ARN) took almost 1 and a half hour to get into a dungeon via DF...boring as hell. Once he changed his role to CNJ it didn´t take more than 5 seconds to find an instance...
We need some kind of NPC mercenaries to be hired by parties lacking of healers or tanks in order to get into dungeons faster. It's a matter of time for people charging money for helping you finish this kind of quests IMO...

Just join a free company. Tanks and Healers are grouping with free company members to run all the dungeons.

well i did scholar/summoner, (scholar main) when i did que on my summoner however 40-50 the ques wheren't to long, should pick everyone language in duty finder if you want a better chance

I don't tend to queue in the Duty finder because I would rather build relationships on my home server, I have always disliked the cross server LFG tools.

I play a tank and my girlfriend plays a healer. We normally just put out a shout in the zone and grab two DD/DPS. This way we can build longer lasting groups to play with vs the quick groups in a duty finder, and get more control over who we invite. I like to have the option to not invite that DPS who didn't assist me/attack the marked mobs.

I think this is the most fun i've had with a tank role in an MMO, atleast with MRD/WAR.

I fear when I go ARC. Not getting DF parties for hours.

There seriously needs to be a way that you can go on one job type but **NEED** lot on another.

I don't mind going as a healer but at this point I want to NEED lot on DPS gear which I cant. Fat chance me getting some of the DPS gear on a healer with GREED lotting.

Im getting ques in excess of 15-20 minutes after totorak. It's kinda ridiculous
