Not sure if it's the same for Ifrit but I assume so. In dungeons, after DCing you get kicked after a certain amount of time, after which the party leader is asked if you want to use the duty finder to get someone to replace whoever was kicked.

This wasn't the case with us, we spent about 20 minutes before bailing on the encounter.
100% agree
I'm actually in a 15m time penality because the tank of leave the group and we were unable to kill Ifrit without him. No possibility to kick him so we all leave and get the penality for something we didn't make...
Why punish people that just have the "luck" to be with random douche...
What is the timer for this? Because I've d/c twice today when I was in an instance and it took me one minute or a little over before I got back in and I was not in my party nor instance anymore. Really frustrating to work with the party to get deep in an instance just to d/c and not get back into the instance even though you come back really quickly. Granted I just d/c and couldn't even log back in but that is another issues entirely, however messed up that is considering it is a week since release.
