So here we are on day 1, release day. Everyone and their mothers is trying to log on and getting the same 1017 error we all know and love, and everyone's free company is recruiting.

So why choose Seriously Casual over any of the other Free Companies out there? Our philosophy is simple, have fun. I am shocked how many people all sound like mirror image copies of other guild recruitment macros;

"Blah blah blah, Endgame! Rabble rabble hard core rabble rabble!" We have almost all seen it by now.

At Seriously Casual, play your way and your style with members who have played MMO's for years, we have guys who love PVP combat, from way back in the day of Dark Age of Camelot, we have end game progression raiders from classic WoW from back when the game was still a challenge, we have craftsman, the one thing we dont have is attitude.

This is a new game, and we are all still learning how things work. I am trying to build a group of players who are interested in working together to achieve their goals, no matter what they are and build a sense of community and friendship doing it. (Hopefully while getting in some good kills and some amazing loot to!)

What makes an MMO great is not just the game, but the people you play with inside the game. I would like to an invite an invitation to anyone reading this to join me, and the other members of Seriously Casual to have a blast enjoying FF14. Square Enix has done a great job, but it is going to be us as a community that makes it great.

I'm looking to join a free company and hopefully find some good friends to enjoy the game with. I have a level 20 THM at the moment and have started working towards getting a tradecraft leveled up. I'm definitely a casual player. I find group content much more enjoyable in MMO's, but only if you have access to a good group of people that want to do the same things. I usually play anytime between 6pm - 1am EST IRL activities aside, of course. Let me know if I can join and I'll get in touch in-game! Thanks guys!!

Hmmm, sounds tempting, I am also in EST time zone. I do not really understand the Free Companies system yet so I have a few questions:

What are the advantages of joining a Free Company?
Can you join more than one?
How do you join one?
Once you join one can you leave it or are you there FOREVER?

What is the proper way to pronounce "Coeurl?"

What are the advantages of joining a Free Company?

Essentially you get a community of players to run around and get loot with and get assitance with the game from while playing. Once your free company gets to a high enough level they can also buy bonus' from the Grand company your free company works for, so for us it is the Flames. 24 hour exp bonus' for example.

Can you join more than one?

No you cannot, you can only be in one Free company at a time.

How do you join one?

It is as easy as expressing inerest in joining! I send you an invite in the game and your in! Contributing and gaining the benefits of membership!

Once you join one can you leave it or are you there FOREVER?

You are welcome to leave and join free companies at any time.

I pronounce it like Coral personally.
