    Wow, European live chat service didn't take me very long at all. It's actually strange now to read so much vitriol from the NA side since I had no trouble lol.

    Here's how it went for me:

    SEE Agent Michael: Hello and thank you for contacting SQUARE ENIX Customer Support. Just a few moments while I review your question, please.
    SEE Agent Michael: I am having some issues with my system, could you please explain the issue here?
    You: I accidentally made a new service account for FFXIV ARR. So now I can't use my product code for my first one.
    SEE Agent Michael: Can you give me the SQUARE ENIX ID?
    You: ******
    SEE Agent Michael: I have escalated this for you and we will contact you again as soon as there are any updates regarding your case.
    You: Thank you very much!
    SEE Agent Michael: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
    You: Will you be contacting me through e-mail, then?
    SEE Agent Michael: Yes, the email address on the account. Is that okay?
    You: Yes, it's fine. That's all I needed to know. Thanks again.

    Just for Info and to give a bit of hope to the rest of you, I called UK Support yesterday morning at 9:00 and got my ticket escalated to head office. At the time the adviser said they had a lot of calls before mine and would probably take 2-3 days to process.
    Got an email at 10:30 this morning saying the process had been completed. Low and behold i now have my EA account merged with my main account with 31 days play time left.

    I'm so angry over this. I HAVE A JOB AND CAN NOT SPEND ALL DAY ON HOLD! My only time to call? When the kids get out of school and are ALSO calling. This is infuriating. They REFUSE to extend EA by a few days to smooth this over... and unless you are able to be on the phone ALL DAY, you're SOL for the weekend. This isn't right.

    I am so jealous of you guys who can actually call, get through on phone and have your ticket escalated. I am not able to do this so I guess I am going to be in the group who has to wait the longest for these issues to get fixed.. Losing my motivation to even play anymore by now.

    I spent 3 hours carrying my phone around on speaker if that makes you feel any better, even in mildly social situations, which was awkward. I can't focus (or sleep) when things like this need fixing, and it seemed the most direct route.

    The guy on phone support said so long as tickets have been put in, they'll get dealt with, on a first come, first serve basis, if that's any comfort; I was just desperate enough to remove the clog from my gears by being glued to my phone for 3 hours.
