i would do it if i had my WAR lv32 or PLD LV32

plus i played brayflox as tank and it was a joke in phase 3

having trouble maintaining aggro either spam flash or overpower for to reclaim it

also there is aggro bar near party members HP check it to see if you see anyone other than you near full that guage

if no one continue attacking

if there is ( most likely healer ) spam flash or overpower for sometime

GLD = out of MP? use riot blade combo to replenish

MRD = out of TP? wait til it fill and spam overpower

i had no trouble using all classes to lv35 back in phase 3

except healer since timing heal is a main factor to not taking tank aggro

The best way to improve is to practise - if we make people feel bad when they mess up then they're more likely to quit than they are to try again. Inexperienced players and bad players aren't the same thing, and if we encourage the inexperienced ones to keep at it then there'll be more around to make Duty Finder group us all faster and instances go smoother.

I've been playing since beta 1.0 too, and I'm still very nervous in a party. Why? Because people who run them all day and all night keep telling me how "simple" and how "easy" it all is, and because mouthy self-appointed party leaders spends more time typing "...." and "Why didn't you heal meeeee?!?!?" than "This is where I'm going to be standing" or "It'll do this when it hits 50% health".

Kind've cheapens the pride you get when you enter a dungeon, and by the end they tell you you're the best tank / healer they've ever partied with.


Not much competition for that position for most, it seems.

Never got a primal weapon, never beat the final boss, never fought moogle (though I did set it up at least with thanks to a linkshell).

So far I've been focusing on leveling all the crafting and harvesting jobs. Earlier today I did try to get into the first dungeon, but I got 90000 and was forced out of the game and haven't been able to get back in.

I'm avoiding playing as my Legacy character until I officially find out what's up with the Legacy story. Right now I'm using a fresh Gramul on Ultros.

alot of bad tank just spam skills thinking there doing somthing, they have to use combos or you wont get hate.
sometimes you give simple advice they tell you to F off they know what there doing.
when people start blaming and pointing the finger i just hit leave, screw it party already hit rock bottom anyways.
i play for fun not to be annoyed by whiny people or elites who shouldnt be using the DF in the first place since they want everything exact.
