It is a non-issue. There are thousands upon thousands of places to get reviews of games. The store, magazines, websites that are authorized to show content. Why the hell do we need a few dozen people that barely anyone cares about throwing fits because their video gets blocked?

If you are truly a popular Youtube reviewer, you don't need to worry about content licenses. Game companies will actively seek you out. Until then, there is really nothing to justify your existence as a reviewer. 90% of the "game reviewers" on Youtube could vanish today, and I'm sure we would all get along just fine in assessing a game's value and enjoyment.

EDIT: I know they have actively searched for quality reviewers, that was what I was pointing out. (and you say my English comprehension is bad?) BUT! The people getting blocked are not the ones they asked to review the game. The people getting blocked are the no-names who are trying to make quick buck with the smallest amount of effort possible.

As for the dude that called me a "judgmental little nerd". I'm playing the game, not watching someone else play it. Big difference, chief.

Square Enix HAS actively sought out these reviewers. You are too uninformed and making too many assumptions to give a valid opinion on this.

Game companies don't give out media licenses to people they don't identify as notable sources. Just because someone is on Youtube doesn't mean they don't deserve to be compensated for their work.

That being said, they stopped the sales until they fix the servers. You really think they're happy with people who publicly shame them on youtube over the inability to login and/or make new characters due to overcrowded servers?
Yet this is the reality of poor planning. The question I ask you is how exactly does SE expect to reduce negative publicity with a move like this? Anyone with a bad opinion can just video blog their face and talk about how horrible this game is even with this license in effect.

They already are. The linked video by OP used Pusheen the Cat as a placeholder while discussing the License issues. Ideally, I would like SE to man up and let people make videos of their stuff, even at the expense of not being able to work anymore with Amano and others for future FF titles

I think SE actually did seek out a few people from Polaris (formerly The Game Station) and a number of other places - they gave them review copies and requested (but didn't mandate) that they put at least 40 hours into the game before giving it a review.

Gotta agree with this. The people who are crying about all of this are the ones who aren't making money off of their videos, anyway. Congrats, you got 1,376 views.
