1017 No Respect! LETS SUE!!!! LAWYERS WERE ARE YOU!?!
Are they expecting us to pay for this kind of bullshit! I held up till the end of ver. 1 and this is the new kind of crap I am given. 1017, too full to get in!?! No respect at all to the players who supported the game!! They had enough time to get this right and they screw it up!
I bet they make the people who bought the new game able to play instead of the people (legacy) who supported them when others did not, ie: getting the game for free. If that is so, this company is just for the MONEY, forget the loyal players that supported them when things where bad.
I do not think giving more time of free play nor in game things could repair the TRUST I have for this company. I know it is just second day from launch but this is ridiculous!! Why is it that they made several servers in different countries? I thought it was to handle the congestion!! What the fuck!!!
I hope there would be someone who could SUE this company for selling a game that is not playable!
I do not think I can cause I got it for free, but if there is a case, I am in!!!!

Lol beef, i appreciate the free bumps then, everything helps when more are able to see this. I do recall seeing a few statements somewhere from yoshi a while back about the dedication to the player they have and everything is pretty much about us and how we feel things need to be. Infact most of the changes that were made from 1.0 to 2.0 were feedbacks given tot hem by the customer themselves. So its only a matter of time that enough bitch about one thing or another that things get changed, wether or not forced by hand or for better/worse, eventually something will happen and then everyone will see the concequences of the actions.

We can only assume that yoshi lives by his dedication as hes put heartfelt work into his career and the game itself is amazing, easily one of the best mmos on the market atm. But the sheer underexpectance that was given from launch has nearly cripple the initial starting rush of members and purchases they could have had if they had Overplanned rather than underplanned.

What really gets me though is why on earth when the game is selling SO well, would they halt the purchases of digital copies? All it is, is more money in their pocket so they can make more adjustments, upgrades as needed, they are effectively slapping themself in the face atm.

and there is no lawsuit here, they have a EULA to protect against things like that, Wich is completely acceptable. Diablo 3 however was nearly sued for many false advertisements due to packages and things in game that never got released but were printed and shown on covers, gameplay , etc.

This is just to get the support of squeenix and get what is in most need fixed asap. Its clear the 90000 has been fixed, as well as 90% of the 30102 errors and even the duty finder issues, The only prevalent issues we are having now are AFK'ers and Login issues, the AFKers will never be fixed, its unfortunate but its just in there style to keep an idle timer out of the game. They did it on FFXI because it allowed you to progress offline, and if they follow there footsteps then this game may have future content that does that as well, making it a potentially hazardous idea to get involved with.

A queue however, will ALWAYS help, it limits the player usage, limits large spam entrance, and allows everyone a garanteed chance to get in, rather than someone got lucky somewhere. Lets just hope this gets to the right people

In my opinion, stopping digital sales for an MMO on PC means that something has gone terribly wrong.
You could argue that it may not effect PS3 profits as much, but they had a large advertising push on PSN for well over a month...

Doesn't bode well for a fix so soon when their reaction is so extreme.

It makes you wonder whats actually going on atm lol. Theres so much they have done yet so much that is needed to be done, and i know how hard it is to halt a full release but someitmes its required to take that extra step to ensure the game is infact ready for launch else you could potentially destroy the game and fanbase for future titles. Look at what happened to blizzard on the initial Diablo 3 release, i was there, it was hell, people left, lots of people left. It took them almost a year to recover from releasing when they KNEW they werent ready. With a game like this thats already had a tarnished reputation from 1.0's failure, it will be hard to just simply "lick the wounds" and move on. They gotta raise their standards a bit and expect to put out a little more to get in what they want, its a hard crowd to please, just unfortunate they put it on themselves like they did.

While I agree that forcing the 1017 solution down our throats is not the most delicate of ways to solve a problem, they have effectively solved it. The alternative, regardless of how pissed off everyone is, or may become, is complete instability and inevitable crashes of the currently existing servers. That is the only end result of re-enabling the queue, and that is not a result that anyone wants. Also, adding to a data-center and, moreover, adding to the actual infrastructure required to connect hundreds of thousands of players (most of whom were not anticipated) is not something that can, or should, be done hastily.

We're all pissed and impatient, clearly, but be certain that the quality of this game will make up for SE's lack of foresight in the near future!

That is the only end result of re-enabling the queue, and that is not a result that anyone wants.

Having a working queue system will cause instability and crashes? How do you know this? Explain. I'm genuinely curious because SE evidently isn't bothering to explain why they will not do it.

Its frustrating, but it give us the tiny sliver of hope we need.
