Missing Genders: A request for Male Miqote, Female Highlander, and Female Roegadyn

why is this such a issue to NOT have them? anything that gives the players more options is good, if you don't like 'em then don't play as one.

I personally don't like the way the midlander males look so I play as a highlander, but thats MY choice, just because I don't like the midlanders doesn't mean that I think that race should be thrown out completely.

hell, I'd re-roll a female Roegedyn just 'cause it would be different.

ya im also all for adding new races, ever since i first started FFXI i always wondered why there was no male mithra and was pretty annoyed that i couldnt be one, so i just started as a hume and by the time i got lvl 75 i was already tired of it, so id rather not be a hume/hyur again in FFXIV and lalafell is kinda boring too lol. so ya if they added male miqote and female roegadyn i think it would not only add a whole new element to the game, but it would also bring in new people and old people that quit who wanted to see new races.

well reason was no males in 11 was because according to their culture male mithra stayed at home to raise the children while females ventured out into the world.

same with galka not having any females, that was because they were asexual in the sense that they reproduced thru rebirth.

not sure on the cultures of the current races though

They're not the same race/lore Male Miqotes and Female Roegs have been mentioned in the game itself Roegs reproduce like humes/Hyurs

If male Miq'ote was in upon release I would of so played it, but if they add it now I would just be mad cause I would no way in hell restart my character. As for the other two, I do not really care, they can do w/e with them. <.<

i said before they should make an item that lets us switch race but lets us keep all our progress gear etc.. course knowing SE it'd be a paid for item XD

Bah, the forum logout timer ate my original post and i don't feel like retyping it all. To put it succinctly:
-Opinions regarding whether or not this is an actual 'issue' may vary, but i hope most people reading these forums can agree that this is probably not a high priority issue
-Getting the game ready for prime time and out of 'perpetual beta test' state so it can start making money again should be the development team's priority
-Updates/modifications to the interface, battle system, armory system, party dynamics and game content are more likely to attract new and returning players than the addition of the missing race/gender combinations (i hope)
-And now a digression: If they want to introduce new race/gender combinations, couldn't they do that in an expansion or something later on, once the game is doing better? They could mark it as the rise of the 'humanist' movement...
