Why are you doing hitting other buttons while you're holding down the autorun button?I use a PS3 controler.
The problem is: I like to keep my target system on "all". I dont ever want it to change from "all". But with the 1.17a patch when I am in "tmode a" and I press "autorun" + "certain controler button" the target mode changes to "tmode b".
With this target system update there has become no purpose to have "tmode a" and "t mode b" because if you, for whatever reason, press autorun and a certain controler button you get shifted to "tmode b".
The changes are fine for people using "tmode b". I would like SE to adjust this feature to be off when in "tmode a". Again, I dont ever want my target mode to be anything other than "all" unless I type "/tmode b".
Does it matter. The fact is that I am and so are other people.
Argue all you want that I "shouldn't" be pressing autorun with other buttons it wont change the fact that I do it. And so do other people. And if it doesnt change new players that do the same thing will get frustrated and not play the game.
Its a simple fix. Id like SE to disable, or give the player the ability to disable, this so that when in "tmode a" the target will never change from "all".
I've been wanting <stpc> and <stnpc> for macros for a while now. I'm just not used to having an easy access switch keybind rows to reach next macro set, growing up on FFXI made me appreciate using ctrl and alt sub commands.
I don't account for the others. My auto run is bound to the start button, meaning my right hand isn't touching anything else when I click it on.Does it matter. The fact is that I am and so are other people.

and my autorun is my l3 key on my controller. ya know the thumb button which is also my direction controller. i click it once to autorun while controlling my player. when i pass by a friend i use my emote key to bow/wave or whatever and it locks. my menu is set for my start button so that is not going to be changed.I've been wanting <stpc> and <stnpc> for macros for a while now. Wha? The whole point of auto-run is that you can tap it and then have your hands free to do other stuff, like accessing the menu, etc. If you're going to hold down auto-run you may as well just hold down the movement keys?Does it matter. The fact is that I am and so are other people.

Anyway, I love the new targeting update! My only gripe with it is that pressing confirm targets whatever's in-front of you regardless of which targeting filter is active; no idea whether that's a bug or not though. :s
In conclusion: Viva la /targetmode a (/'-')/
