All N/A servers full

Friends just got their copies from Amazon today and we log in and no NA servers have any open spots... Anyone know when the capacity for the servers will be increased?

I'm really not sure myself but the main problem is that people arn't logging out. They're leaving the game afk and going doing other things.

Ironically, if the queues worked the way they should, people wouldn't feel the need to stay logged in (else face the 1017).

Yeah that dreaded 1017 is pretty brutal but once the queue worked(after 10mins of constant logging on) its not to bad

I screwed up today. Was able to login around noon eastern time. Logged out at about 5pm to get some dinner. Haven't been able to log back in since.
Moral: Never log out. It sucks, but it's the only way.

Unfortunately, the two errors are continually feeding off each other in a vicious cycle. 1017 messages make people afraid to log out, so they simply stay in game and AFK, which leads to far more 1017 messages, which leads to more people deciding to just never log out...

Which means ultimately that FFXIV ARR Rocks otherwise servers would be empty so good for you SE!!!!!

Not gonna lie. I think that if your afk for more then 15mins then it should force log people out. To me i think it would relieve congestion. But this is only one mans voice

Yoshida has indicated that more server capacity should be coming pretty soon, but no exact date was given.
