They aren't adding idle log out timers because they support botting; when players are done, a lot of them go idle for the 10, 20, or more hours, in order to not lose their server spot, and square has already publicly mentioned that they have no intention of adding idle logout timers or correcting this issue. (I.e. number padding)

This is bullshit. Next week everything will be normalized.
