    SE, how stupid can you guys be? I am not new to MMO launches and have played since launches as early as Dark Age of Camelot and most since but right now the lack of proper queues and AFK timers is pretty fucking ridiculous!

    Queues and AFK timers are nothing new to MMO's so why don't you guys have these implemented? I finally saw the queue for the first time about 10 minutes ago, said 1 person ahead of then it boots me to the 1017 error. WTF, seriously?

    Boot AFK/inactive players FFS! No way my server has been full (legitimately full) since noon (eastern time) and still full 3 hours later. Get your shit together, this is ridiculous!

    I absolutely love this game, but if this doesn't get resolved before my 3 trial days are up I will NOT be inputting my code and will return my copy of this game. I refuse to let the first half of my free 30-days of game time get wasted by not being able to play due to such simple and common sense features being overlooked like this.

    I don't mind that SE is trying to get everything resolved or even if they pushed back the release date when Phase 4 started. What i do mind is not being informed on progress or status updates saying they are still working on a solution to the issue. The frustration wouldn't be so bad if I knew that they were still working on a solution. Just some confirmation on progress is all that I ask for. Please, just an update.

    What a total disaster. 55 quid spent just to get 1017 server full crap. Monkeys playing with their own excrement could do a better job. The Early Access was a complete joke as well with the EU/NA servers down for most of it. I've paid for a game that I can't play due to the incompetence of Square Enix. Seriously considering not bothering to play this pathetic mess after my free play period is up. Heh, and we won't get recompensed for the days we'll lose because of this total disaster. No way am I paying a sub for this total embarassment.

    I have played MMO's for about 14 years now, been through issues at launch but this is a first time that I wasn't able to play a game not by an issue but by design by the developers. It's launch servers are full, people aren't logging out but just keeping there characters logged in 24 hours so that they never have to worry with ques. But I am just taken back by the first MMO that doesn't allow the people who purchased the game to play by there own design so that some can play while others are left in the cold. I think this game is awesome when I get to play it. Maybe one day, in the future, you will be able to come to your computer, log in, and actually get into the game without having to try to log in for over an hour. I would call this the worst launch in the history of MMO's only because it's not like SE has any plans to fix people not being able to play, they just figure enough people will quit on there own and don't care about their player base being able to play. Kinda sad really.

    This was their "Official" response from the ticket I submitted lol:

    "Thank you for taking the time to report your frustrations and concerns about not being able to get into the game due to the worlds being full. We understand that these frustrations are justified, since you would like to enjoy FINAL FANTASY XIV, and this is preventing you from getting into the game. At the current time world population caps are being met, which prevents additional access to these worlds. We are collecting the feedback from these tickets to escalate to the development team, although any change to the worlds or the population caps would be found on the Lodestone (http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/), and we recommend checking there for any announcements.
    Final Fantasy XIV Support Team"
