I can't see the text if I shrink the windows. This wont help me. Also I didn't think the resolution would matter on a console. At least it shouldn't.I have your fix.
Every window can be re-sized and moved around in the HUD display section. You know how to move it, but to re-size just select that window and click R3 joystick on the PS3. My 720 PS3 version looks 1080p with the windows all fixed up. This game runs fine. you can even shrink the hotbar.
Enjoy.
P.S you can't move the chatbox far as I know but you can make the text smaller in options. Fixes that too.

I mean... I understand your issue with not being able to afford an HD TV and everything, but... Seriously, they've been around for 10+ years by this point. There is no reason, sad to say, for anyone to support anything that isn't an HD TV in this day and age. It's like expecting a modern game to run on a ten year old computer with ten year old components. Or expecting the game to run on PS1. Also, when they say "720 is the minimum resolution," they meant "720 is the minimum resolution." It's not really their fault if you chose to ignore this, or didn't want to research it...
What kind of TV do you have? Does it have vacuum tubes?
I would say then that 'most' people should spend more time reading requirements. Also 'most' people own a television capable of 720p. This isn't a bug or an issue with the game. Maybe they will let you trade it in for ps2 game.

? is this true?
