The event just rolled over.

I saw the event people disappear for a few minutes around ~4am and then reappear...except for one member of the party...

There is a new quest available now. Check it out. All the other eggs and egg caps are now active.

That dev who left the message before was just messing with people, I guess.

Not sure what I did... I just got 'The Dreamer's Dilemma (Limsa Lominsa)' quest for 3 egg caps (vibrant, brillant, midnight).

Now I'm running around trying to collect Darkened Archon, Umbral Archon, Earth, Water, and Ice eggs for Midnight Cap!

Where can we look for the Dreamer..
It says we have to hunt him and get an egg from it

you can kill some special NPC, they drop the eggs.
In Uldah i found them near Nophica's Wells in 16/34 (inside the cave)
There were 2 black bunnies with eggs, both very easy.

i fond them by accident when i was looking for Cactuar Jack.

Each dropped 1 'Painted Archon Egg' (unique item)
( you can pick up 2 if you put one in your bazaar)
and a bunch of normal eggs (fire, water, astral, earth. lighting, wind)

As of today, the event NPC's now offer a new quest called "A Dreamer's Dilema"... as far as what reward you get, that I do not know, and will not know until later today when I get back home from work, but this is definitely a next step to answer your questions lol.

Face it, just because someone was bored enough to datamine things they weren't supposed to doesn't automatically entitle you getting any information from SE on it. You weren't supposed to know about it in the first place. Besides, aren't there more important things to be complaining about and whining for information over? Too much bickering over an awful looking hat...

It was just the second time ever I called someone a fanboy...
BTW if you can't see any problem or if you don't care it's fine, To me it seems there are a lot of communication issues and since people are whining since September about the most stupid things (can I mention the jump feature?) while I was defending the game I guess there's no problem is this time it is me complaining.
