Draven, SE didn't say you can't upload videos - they're saying you can't make money on it. This is why people don't really appreciate or respect that community anymore since it's become purely about money.

So if you want to promote the game, you can, you just won't be making money on it. If you truly wanted to promote ARR do it outside of monetization.

Disallowing monetization means this game will get zero coverage from most of the major bloggers and YouTube personalities. Which a lot of people watch, and would get exposed to that might not otherwise.

Basically, it's yet another in the string of fairly poor decisions SE has made so far.

Or, there's always viral advertising and grassroots advertising. It think it'll say more about the product when people will promote something w/o getting paid than those who do. True fans will promote whether or not there's a benefit to them. Those that will when only provided with a chance to make revenue, you don't want them involved with you anyways:
