So it seems i cant roll need for an armor piece Dragoon can use. 3 body pieces of gear drop for melee and the tank takes them all. GG POS SE

I kind of doubt the tank "took" anything. Won the rolls maybe. RNG is RNG and PUGs can be iffy. Why should somebody be fair about loot in a group where they'll never see anyone again? If the situation was reversed and you were winning all of the rolls would you have eventually passed to a stranger? Unlikely. Would you have created thread to brag about winning 3/3 drops vs another player. More likely!

The unfortunate thing about duty finder/group finder style pugging is that when grouping with strangers many people feel like they only need to care about themselves. You will most likely never see any of those people again or at least not get randomly grouped with them. Are you really surprised that someone never passed and won everything...why should they ever expect anybody else to do differently?

I don't like it, but that's the way it's going to be in a "duty finder" lazy type of system. Every soloist out for themselves. Get in a decent LS or FC and group with regulars if you want a better experience - that's the only hope in fast food gaming.

More than just bad luck on rolls too. In my limited duty finding pugging I've been shocked to encounter all decent folks and competent players so far.

There is no roll. There is NO RNG for lnc/drg atm. Because Scale armor, which is BiS for DRG and only second BiS for mrd/gld classes, is set up to where Lnc/DRG cannot roll. At all. Need greyed out. Can only greed, while tank can roll need on it. This is honestly hardly fair. I've seen these drops drop with dps stats, no parry etc on them, but I can't roll regardless. This would be similiar to, say, a healer robe dropping. But healer cannot roll need on it, its greyed out, instead, can only greed while caster dps can roll need.

If that's the case, then gear in question was clearly marked tank only by mistake. Maybe they set the flags wrong on all scale armor for that matter, and yeah, it's annoying for the time being but it really doesn't sound like it's working as intended. Make a bug report. Seriously. This needs to be fixed and there's no reason to believe they won't fix it once it's brought to their attention.
