Has anyone heard back yet from support? Or is it too soon to hope for a reply?
So I am at a dilemma, do I make a new character on my service account 2 which have a the CE code? or should I just wait for it to be resolve. I think the problem is we aren't even sure how or when this will be resolve.
I think SE need to post how they intend to fix this issue, I don't want to make and level a new character on my service account 2 only to have it deleted or something they they merge both service accounts.
Guess that makes sence. Since My FFXIV 2 service is an upgraded account from the old 14. However it still does not make much sence. It worked on Early Access code upgrade, but not on the real registration. Sigh... then there is a high chance that I will be returned with not able to merge the account and ending up with 3 accounts services. From what I have seen it seems to have only happened to 1.0 accounts. I bought the game fresh and didn't even worry about my 1.0 account and was able to register just fine by clicking add platform. I think it's because they didn't intend any 1.0 players to buy the game again unless they were buying a ps3 version. Which is why you only get the option to add a ps3 service.
*Actually now that I think about it I remember readin something a few weeks back that the only way 1.0 players would get early access and the free 30 days is by purchasing a ps3 version of the game and applying that code. Dumb as hell but makes sense with what is happening
Read that on the registration site as I registered. Why would anyone choose to create a new account when they already logged in on.
