I had this problem a lot when being in fullscreen or trying to alt tab over from fullscreen. Have you tried having it in windowed mode?

Even just got email from SE with preorder code and entered that on mog site and still the same problem. Did you ever find a fix?
I had this problem more in 1.0 than now. Try turning down your graphics and closing any un needed programs. I know my Itunes barely ever responds and causes other things to crash I don't know your computers specs but if youve been playing I doubt it isn't powerful enough but if you ahve too many programs open in the background that could do it too.

    Same issue

Crashes anywhere between 5 to 35 minutes into playing. Seemingly no cause, certainly nothing I can repeat.

Its already hard to get into a guildleve or instance from the duty finder as a DPS, crashing while I'm deep into the que and having to log back in and start over is truly frustrating.

How much ram do you have? also did you try shutting down background programs from the task manager?

Have you tried using windowed mode maximized? I use this mode and it runs fairly well

My game doesnt really stop, but my FPS drop to under 10 (got GTX 560 TI with up-to-date drivers) and even when i restart the game the issue stays.
    Only restarting PC helps.
I noticed that my PC goes to 100% processor usage when that error happens.

Next time it stops working do these steps.

    Press Windows + R
Type eventvwr expand Windows logs and then select Application

Look for any errors that relate to FFXIV:ARR
If none appear, try System logs and looks for any errors there.

Post the errors here and I'll try give you a solution.
