They split up the servers that existed at the end of 1.0 into NA and JP, so every 1.0 character could be transferred to the Legacy server of your choice at that time (either because you were now on a server in the wrong region, or because you just wanted to).

Well, the problem is that I was out of the country at the time, so I really did not have any idea about any of this. I also kept applying for the betas, but even as a legacy player, I never got any access codes or emails or responses to support.
