    That is not something that can be fixed except by support, as only Error Code 3 was the only one caused by Congestion. Any other error is a legitimate problem that can only be helped by them.
    As that is not a FFXIV problem, and is a common problem with any game launch that uses keys, it doesn't need to be added to the OP.

    ok so my friend is trying to play. she bought 1.0 and played. deleted her character not her account. she gets the game for free but how does she start playing again? the mog station says she doesnt have ffxiv registered but on the old square enix account management it says it is registered

    I think I may have better luck getting Gamestop to issue me a new key. As I am still waiting to hear back from SE about another, unrelated issue that I opened a ticket for about a week ago. Thanks though. =D

    ^As a non legacy player, if there comes a time when we can actually play this game as we are supposed to, that would definitely piss me off. Is there a discount system for non legacy?

    I think this calls for a Non-Legacy 9.99 ~ 360 option (119.88 / 360) instead of the 12.99 ~180 (77.94 (155.88 / 360)).

    ... Sure, by this math, you could say that Legacy could get 6.99 ~ 360... (83.88)... I'd be fine with that.

    I am a FFXIV v1.0 owner. I could play in beta phase 3 and 4. I have the updated beta phase 4 client installed. When I try to log in, i get the message

    "No valid or active account is availeble to play FINAL FANTASY XIV. A Realm Reborn.
    Proper registration through the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station is required"

    On the Mog Station, I see

    "Account Status. Final Fantasy XIV 1
    FFXIV. A Realm Reborn - Beta Test Windows(R) is registred to this service account.
    Account Type. None
    Subscription: Inactive
    You have no Veteran Rewards"
    I see the name of my beta phase 4 character and there is a FFXIV symbol to click. Doing so forwards to Account Services where I am prompted to register a 20-digit code. I enter my FFXIV v1.0 registration code I get the message that this code is already registred.

    I have recived no code or other information from SqEx. I see that others are in the same boat as me and that others like me can log in and play without problems.

    Please advise.

    Excellent thread, thank you! Maybe you can help me with my question.

    I was in beta phase 4 and currently have 3 days left of early access on my PS3 account. However I ordered my copy of the game from amazon and it won't be arriving until September 3-9th (I swear amazon guaranteed arrival on release day...but that's a different problem)! I'm worried that once my handful of free days end I'll end up having a week down time while I wait for my games to arrive. Is there any work around for this that you're aware of?
