Is what everyone is screaming right about now with the exception of a select few players who managed to cram into the servers before the limit was hit...

So let me get the straight...

I paid 30 dollars to get early access but I'm locked out because SE screwed up and didn't properly estimate server load? Or is it just that they are terrified that if they allow everyone to hop in the servers that their 20 dollar servers(major exaggeration) will buckle on themselves?

Either way it's highly disappointing that I pre-ordered for early access only NOT to get early access...

I am sick of seeing the argument that ppl did not pay for early access. Yes they did! It was advertised as part of the pre order. Pre ordering the game gets you early access AND the game. You pay for what is advertised in the package they sold. You can not get access to early access without paying money!

To be fair, you can make that argument, but heres some math to back up that idea:

Lets start off with 2 very generous assumptions:
1. You preordered the game 6 months in advance
2. You have some way of getting an enormous 6% interest on your investments (This is extremely high, most savings accounts have less than 1% APY with the highest rewards checking accounts in the nation having shy of 3-4%)

So, 30 dollars at 6 months 6% interest compounded daily gives us an end value of: $30.91

So square "owes" you less than a dollar.

daiceman, we PREPAID for the game for the RIGHT to play it a couple days earlier than the rest of humanity. Now we cannot. I want that "less than one dollar" items BECAUSE I FRAKKING PAID FOR IT! I waited for weeks for the right to sit down this weekend and play one of the greatest franchises of all time and I cannot do it. Anyone that doesn't understand that needs to shut up. It is that simple.
