    Early access is a "bonus" for us giving them money well in advance, which they were able to use and make money off of themselves (through interest, or one would hope that they would have purchased extra servers...but i guess not), so yes, pre-order folks that are experiencing problems SHOULD be compensated, honestly they should just make the 1st 2 months or so free instead of just 1 month.

    Do you know how SE usually reacts to stuff like this, that is totally their fault for not being properly prepared? Especially after they royally FK'ed the initial release of ff14 (for which they also had an identical user agreement)? They gave almost a year of free subs to folks before, bet money that they don't give some additional free time for this. Yoshi has already stated a few times that he wishes to carry forward the series that he loves with honor and respect from it's fans (including himself), I personally feel that the only honorable thing to do in this instance would be to give a free month (in addition to the 1st month) to those that pre-ordered.

    You cannot, under any circumstances, sign away human or consumer rights. Contracts can say what they like, but consumer law is a layer above them.

    Well my concern for SE is that Sony has already refunded people who pre-ordered their game through PSN and their codes didn't work until last night. So two days less of EA and they refund the 59.99 purchase.

    I paid 79.99 for the physical CE for PS3 pre-ordering through SE on the first day and I'm still without EA for now 3 days, no response to two tickets (I'm sure they're busy), and also not a single forum response while the PSN people got responses on the boards a couple times yesterday until it was fixed.

    I wouldn't expect them to refund my game price for lacking a few days of EA, but now that they've done so for a bunch of other people I damn well better get at least the same treatment, and then some since I chose to pay more and am more affected by problems even longer than they are. I just want equal treatment.

    How many people have they refunded already? How many more would they refund? How much is that going to affect the production cost?

    I don't want SE to bail but ...

    Maintence/log in issues asside... What about those who did not even get a Early Access Code but should have a code? Does that mean we didn't get the product we were promised? I'm a Collector's Version 1.0 version player with 6 months worth of subscription in crysta, and I did not get my Legacy title or Legacy Tattoo ... They are not even trying to help me, I made a ticket 2 days ago, and they can't even do something as simple as turn on the flag in my character to Legacy "On" let alone respond to my problem. And I know I'm not alone with this problem.

    I've come to terms that I will not get Early Access, But I want the items/title I was promised, and I want an acknowledgment that they are addressing this problem. I/we deserve at least that after the garbage that was version 1.0

    For people who might misread this, this specifically relates to redeeming your early access bonus codes for the two items. Live launch is still this Tuesday.
