    A FEW FACTS FOR EVERYONE.

    1. Not every aspect of SE can receive 24/7 attention, even with shift working and infinite sleep hax.
    2. Even if somebody is on top of the situation, it takes time to do anything. There are many relays to consider.
    3. Their silence doesn't mean that the community reps aren't here.
    4. The reason the JP servers work and the NA/EU servers don't is that there are simply too many people trying to access the NA/EU servers.
    5. NA/EU servers are not played strictly by NA/EU players, and the JP are not played strictly by Japanese people.
    6. Paying whatever you payed so far does not entitle you to being overly ignorant and malicious. You still agreed to their terms of service.
    7. Unless we are there or have recently been there, we have no idea what is going on at SE.
    8. SE is a business - their goal is to make money.

    Bonus. The English player-base is vastly the most vocal player-base on the forums.

    I know you will all take what you want from this.

    1. Actually this is an MMO launch, they actually are expected to and rightfully so. That's the job they signed up for not some minimum wage job as a cashier. Welcome to salary position were the hours are as demanded.
    2. They aren't doing anything to solve it though. No idle kicks, no queue to login, artifically keeping servers populations low by prevent people to connect. (see Error 1017)
    3. True but there is no reason that when they do update us that it's the same message rehashed over and over, only slightly changed to address the new Error. (On top of the fact they said 4 times they found a fix and yet have made it worse.)
    4. The reason is because they stupidly put NA/EU servers together instead of a dedicated server for each. On top of the fact that we have twice the player base of Japan, yet we have less servers.
    5. I don't know why this matters, or why it needed to be mentioned.
    6. It entitles us to a solution quickly or appropriate communication and not lies that they "fixed" the problem when 4 times now its just gotten worse.
    7. Same goes to you buddy.
    8. And they are going to crash and burn at this rate with bad press and lose their NA audience, which is far greater than Japan.

    I just think that they are working to fix things as annoying as it is. They are out to make money, so I'm pretty sure they are trying to fix it asap.

    Two types of hate you're hearing:

    a) people who've dealt with SE for a while an expected their "we'll inform you once every 3-5 hours stance to change"

    b) people who've never dealt with SE, and didn't know they had god awful lines of communication.


    The thing is I've dealt with SE since XI, then 1.0, and now. I expected they might for once have a team dedicated to social media telling us updates, not a twitter update when the forums don't work, or an update on the news site once every 2 hour minimum. I've played a lot of mmos now, in most of them, severe problems happen, there is a comment about in on the forums in 30 mins. Anything longer than that, people start going "do they even care?".

    I don't mean to be a sad Suzie, but after a while people getting tired of hearing "sorry about the inconvenience we've caused you", especially when most have been able to do nothing all EA with instances broke and now this, on top of that I was 3102'd for the entire beta. I understand this is the beginning, we're crashing, we're server stress testing, but this is what open beta phase 4 was four, and they decided two days was enough.

    I really saw this type of customer service coming for NA/EU and USA seems to be their biggest cash cow so hopefully they learn to give us more priority on issues. In the end i clearly don't know and can't possibly comprehend the problem and how hard they're working but i'm just hoping for a better future on ARR.

    Its more of the lack of communication than anything else. I rather they come out and say, we are taking everything down for the next 24 to resolve the issues. I have been a long time SE fan but the excuse of this is normal for launch is flawed. When I am at work and if I consistantly make the same mistake over and over, my boss wouldnt put up with it. I will be out on my butt looking for a new job. Communcation is key during these issues and with the advance of social networking, there is no reason communication is lacking. Same issue that NASDAQ had last week. It wasnt that it went down but no communication is not acceptable. Now I sit after getting error messages all day with a constant 3102 error. Tells me to wait a moment and try again. A moment is not 5 hours. A little disappointed in the diligence that went into this launch so far especially since this was supposed to be saving face after the 1.0 launch which I wont even start on.

    Ok, this seems very simple to me. If we have X number of servers and Y number of players, and each server can only hold Y number of people, then we should have X number of servers. I don't see what is so difficult about this. Just add more servers, and release the ridiculous restriction on legacy players so we can transfer freely and play with our friends.

    Teh, chances are, SE can't afford to do that since the team they currently have has any damned clue what's going on atm and briefing a new recruit would take time and money they don't want to fork out. Meanwhile I'm picturing the entire dev team as that guy from Jurassic park saying "Ya know what? I'm completely unappreciated in my time, do you know anyone else who can debug 30 networks? cuz I'd love to see them try." with a desk full of chocolate bars, chips, and sodas...
