Its not only what I want, but why pay to play a online game to play it by yourself...whats the point? Even though they haven't charged us yet it still doesn't make sense.
People have lives and those people can't always wait around for a party full of people to gain a level... I have stated plenty of times that i loved XI but the worst part about it was when i got older and had alot more work to do. I would log onto ffxi knowing i only had about 2-3 hrs which would accomplish not much at all... For FXIV to be TRULY successful and competitive in the MMO market they will have to start by taking peoples live into consideration... If not(i repeat again) change the name into FFXI-2 which its greatest attribute will be the biggest downfall.

I think we are missing the point here. We aren't reading between the lines. And let's compare it to WoW. Not because it bothers you, but because WoW is a valid MMO to compare it to.
WoW is successful with the ability to solo to end game simply because of this;
You don't have to solo to end game. However, WoW has it on a much different level than FFXIV. For example, I can log into WoW do some solo questing or grinding to level my character. At the same time, I can also PvP, run dungeons, or gather materials to level.
It's not about playing with or without people. Its about playing how you want to play.
This game is not successful because it either IS or IS NOT solo capable to end game. It is not successful because all that you CAN do is leves which are on a cooldown or grind monsters. Its the lack of choices, or, basically, content that is killing this game right now.

this is something that could have easily been improved upon. there could have been a server-wide LFG option that combines players from multiple realms into the camp / party zones. something like WoW dungeon finder but expanded into a LFG-finder.People have lives and those people can't always wait around for a party full of people to gain a level... they should have taken FFXI and built upon it's strengths instead of cowaring towards it's weaknesses. ffxiv was catered to the solo playstyle and it imploded under it's vacuum of emptiness.

Emptyness has nothing to do with solo playstyle. Emptyness is generated by lack of content.
Your premise, elaboration and logic are completely flawed, and you draw consequences between completely unrelated topics.

It not being *your* personal playstile doesn't mean that it doesn't make sense for others. Many others actually.
And then there are the many (probably the majority), me included, that enjoy alternating solo play with group play at their leisure.
