I hope this helps some of you. I signed a new contract with BT at the end of Jan this year. Policy changed on the 1st of Feb taking away p2p throttling. I have just this second got off the phone with BT, who adamantly state that I have no fair usage limitations on my account at all. The lady was unable to explain to me why this horrendous lag is still happening.

I did a speed test with BT and at peak time my speed (7mbs) doesn't move. She clearly had no clue as to the issues here. I have kept the ticket open with BT and will get back to them if the situation doesn't improve. So even the players who have the "no throttling restrictions" are having the same issues.

Come on SE and BT, sort yourselves out.
