Isn't it written in the TOS that SE has the right to terminate your service at any time, and they don't have to tell you why?
its written in every tos for every mmo but people believe they have these thinga called "rights" when they actualy dont
something about entitlement
you should see how many people think they can sue mmos over tos violation enforcements

I think I have the right to assume they want my business and others. I think they also know that if they banned players for no reason word would get around and noone would play the game. I love the game because it is FF but any business would ruined if they just banned customers because they felt the whim to do so. Give them some credit. I think they do a good job taking care of the player base the majority of the time. I can assume they will not ban me unless I break a rule for this reason. The entitlment you refer to is me being a paying customer and I surely will as soon as they charge a monthly fee.

theres always a reason but people feel they are always innocent too
look at the people justifyinbg actual botting earlier in this thread
or all the people who buy rmt gold
all of them justify it too and whine when they get in trouble for it
granted some people who are actualy innocent will get hit by this type of stuff too, but 99% of the time, they did something that made it look like they were doing something illegal(ie not responding to gms for long periods of time while still being active in game, which is exactly what most bots would do)

You'd think they'd be the first to do that "word-spreading", but they never do...the thing is people dont get banned for no reason

Vedis, I will assume that a small minority not the majority break the rules of the game and they will proclaim their innocence much like rl criminals. I think your point, if I'm wrong please correct me, is that you are saying everyone that gets banned is innocent and therefore SE is wrong. I for one do not know anyone that was banned for a time and come back saying it was crap. Every person I know banned came back and said they were wrong in what they did and learned their lesson to not break rules. Which I think is very lenient of SE to let them back after breaking a rule. SE doesn't want to ban players. They want us as customers. They are not going to ban you unless you do something wrong. There are exceptions of course but I think you are just trying to validate some sort of nonsense I don't understand.the thing is people dont get banned for no reason

I agree that the arguing is round and round. I said my viewpoint on the matter. I still feel it would be better if SE used hax detection so it would not interupt my movie watching... errr crafting :P. I also feel that /tell from other players... not a GM ... is not the best way to determine if someone is a bot.
