    I can't believe this, I have been on the forum and constantly checking my XMB box all day. I want to play this game TODAY!!! How do we get the short end of the stick just because we Pre-ordered this as soon as it becomes available for us?!? We deserve much more than just a simple refund!! RANT people RANT!!!! lol

    Yeah, it's a huge bummer but as you say they are crediting our account. Think of how much money they had to eat because of these unforeseen circumstances. That's telling us they care about customer retention, and how we feel about SquareEnix as a brand.

    Besides, Bayohne stated that it's pretty much out of their hands at this point since Sony distributes the vouchers, and I seriously doubt we'll get them today. Possibly not even tomorrow. But what else can the SquareEnix do? I think even though we're not able to join in on early access (SUPER sux), they're doing good business by refunding our accounts along with a copy of the game we initially bought at no charge.

    Note: As far as I know, PSN does not give cash back. Like Gamestop, they only credit our accounts to ensure they've got our money.

    super bummer on why Std Ed preorders were given first priority. at least SqEx could have made it clear to sony to issue us with the vouchers first.

    Yeah I agree.

    A friend had suggested earlier (and it was also mentioned on this thread a few pages back) that the CE customers are likely already along for the ride regardless of problems encountered. While I don't think that's fair, if it's true then it certainly applies to me LOL. From a business standpoint, if you are fairly confident a certain type of customer is going to stick around no matter what, you pay slightly less attention to them when others are on the cusp of potentially leaving forever. It's also entirely possible that the vouchers can only be distributed by format of the purchase, where mass messaging takes time to send out and can only be sent one purchase format at a time. Also, the amount of people that bought the standard edition could possibly be much higher than CE individuals, and along that vein there's more profit to be lost subscription-wise with the standard edition-- so they were attended to, and vouchers sent out in that direction first.

    Of course, this is all just speculation. Maybe they flipped a coin. All I know is being able to play tomorrow with PSN credit and complimentary copy of game would be fine by me.

    the least they could do is post in the launcher that the NA PSN preorders on AUG 13 -15 are not yet fully resolved. because they had an earlier post saying that it was solved, but as we all know, it still isn't.

    I will be the first to say and dont flame me trying to be positive, from what I've been seeing on the tech support page....... we have not missed much but a bunch of other errors and at least we are getting the game for free ( in hope that us CE guys do get a voucher). Soooooooo I am overall not to upset right now cause I could have paid for this and be getting the Error 900000 and not getting into instances right now.
    Just food for though and trying to calm some peeps down!

    Hi, you may contact sony since they handle the voucher distribution. but SqEx may also have had the distribution put on hold. we don't really know unless they post something.
