People comparing this start to 1.0 have clearly forgotten what 1.0 was like ... this early-start (not even the actual start of service yet) may not be smooth, but you are forgetting one thing , when the game actually does work ... there will be stuff to do in the game!

Well to be honest, this is what I would call normal for a MMO release. Even if it's an early access release.
I rememer when WoW launched, they had huge issues aswell. More severe than this, and it took them several weeks to get it sorted out.
But it's getting close to a decade ago now so I guess people have forgotten stuff like that.

Yes it's annoying that you can't progress main story due to some quests require you to do duty finder things. But you can still gather people the old fashioned way to do dungeons. And you can do leve's with the allowences you've gotten so far. And there's fate's around the world to go to, crafting things, gathering things, hunting logs etc..
So stop whining about EVERYTHING is broken.

Is it a vital part that's broken? Probably yes, but it's not like you CAN'T play the game..

Enjoy what you can and the issues will get fixed sooner or later.

Unfortulately, I can't progress the story as the storyline quest is instanced, and I can't gather because I have to complete my level 10 class quest first... which is instanced. x_x Can't do leves either (as I've yet to unlock them, as I need to complete my story quest). For those who have already done these, there's still much to do. I've mainly just been going through my hunting log.

Meh, but the problem will be fixed soon and all of this will be history :P

im getting really impatient. im getting really over this game. this shouldnt be this difficult. Apparently SE didnt put alot of thought or effort into population with NA EU players? Or even doing this duty finder bullcrap. You talk to the entrance NPC and it pulls up Duty Finder. No back up plans. //headdesk. I have a full party and been in reserve instance for 10 minutes... and made several attempts over the past couple hours. Friends dont know if theyll be able to because its unverified.

SE has made me *facepalm*. Sorry to all you perpetual apologists out there but SE is a joke there is no way around it. Bug after bug after bug it is like Osama Bin Laden signed up to a terrorist bug regime before he died. Yay lets attack the NA/EU servers only and leave the JPN players (their target audience) alone as they might get angry. It is apparently a duty finder/story issue (which should affect all servers) so why the NA servers are included in being the new bug test central is beyond me.

It is NOT open beta any more this is effectively the real deal. No more excuses apologists or SE excuses will only get you so far and even then only if you actually fix them. This is really not going to bode well for reviews i hope you are happy i was hoping this game will succeed by leaps and bounds.
