with the same amount of servers in japan as the na/eu it's only blatantly obvious which country square-enix caters to.

so you're saying it's a good business move for a company to place more severs in a potentially lower population area just to cater to your home country?

You realize they probably have more capacity they can add to the NA/EU? No where did they say that there is no way they can add more servers.

They would be silly to be maxed out before actual launch. Most of these issues are due to the instance server which all the servers on the NA/Eu cluster put requests into. So even if you add 5 more servers right now, they are still going to put the requests into the same instance server cluster which is having performance issues.
