I wonder how many of you were at the WoW launch day of vanilla. The same thing happened with servers filling faster then they could pump out so please just get some damn patience and wait for another server to come up and ask your friends to just transfer over or you just transfer over to there server.

You're right. It's a good thing Yoshi-p isn't trying to target people who are absolutely new to MMOs and wont understand that this "Happens in ever MMO launch"
Because if he WAS trying to target players new to MMOs, they'd probably just get frustrated and decide not to play...

If that did happen though, at least the White Knights wouldn't have to suffer their complaints and "whining" because those people... those people would just quit with typing a single thing in the forum

Honestly anyone who thinks this isn't a pretty good launch, can't have been around for many..
The servers have been up a lot of the day with 0 issues..

No, it's not the best, but no where near 1/2 as bad as most and 1000x better the the worst ones..

If you re-purchased the game simply to gain the three days of Early Access it was probably a waste of money. Almost every single AAA MMO title released in memory has had issues of some sort regarding server stability on launch / early access. You probably should have been prepared for this eventuality considering there's a very documented history of this exact thing happening over the course of MMO history.

Always expect the worse, and hope for the best when it comes to MMO's. It's widespread knowledge, that every MMO launch has F*** uped. Why on earth would this RE-launch be any different? Even with all the prior MMO's failed launch examples, how could SE learn from that? I mean who ever learns from their mistakes?

Let's be truthful here everyone expects, and accepts SE's F*** up's. It's not like they have anything to prove this time around, right?

whining about the ball being dropped vs the others who are on the ground giving them a once over so they're all shiny looking. I'd say this was expected after open beta being so short and the 3102 error cutting into most of the NA players open beta.

No. It's the first day of the re-launch. Square has run MMOs before. They've run this MMO before.

Wasn't one of the reasons they shuttered the doors so they could bring it out once again, polished and waxed, and get rid of the poor impressions people had with the original bug filled and problematic launch? Rhetorical, by the way. It was one of the reasons.

They knew exactly the kind of disastrous launch the game had previously, and they just leaped right back into that same pit and no amount of (other players) excusing and apologizing their lack of preparation or planning undoes the kind of impression that leaves with a lot of players.
