I wonder how many of you were at the WoW launch day of vanilla. The same thing happened with servers filling faster then they could pump out so please just get some damn patience and wait for another server to come up and ask your friends to just transfer over or you just transfer over to there server.

When RIFT went F2P they had WAY worse issues than not being able to log in. (And I was there, waiting patiently for Trion to get a fix out.) Now guess what, even after all the media about the issues, RIFT is just fine.
What YOU need to do as a player is be patient and wait for a fix to roll out.
SE KNOWS there is a problem, they are ACTIVELY WORKING TO FIX THE ISSUES.
They have to first find and identify the issue, then figure out a way to fix it, then test it, then take all worlds down and patch us to fix the problem. It WILL take some time.
But let me tell you what is not helpful, people like you, making threads like this to badmouth a company/game who's website you are currently on. It is tactless and classless.
Also, I don't really care how many times you reword your "oh the media will get wind of this and talk about it and completely ruin this game" argument, the simple fact is, it won't. [ruin the game]

I've played 15+ LAUNCH day MMOs, and in every single one of them, my main story quest wasn't hindered, and I was certainly able to run instances. Stop being ignorant and realize the problems STILL at hand. Even after an emergency maintenance they persist.

I'm sorry but anyone with half a clue understands this issues only effect launch and are completely gone a week in in 99% of MMO launchs.

Then they fail to remember how it took WoW MONTHS to get enough servers up to stop the problems lol.

I love the people who are trying to defend the fact that SE refused to stress test for more then 3 days, and saying that this is all justified. It's like their minds can't process the fact that we wouldn't have to be going through all this if the game had been tested properly.

They also can't comprehend that SE is currently losing alot of potential income with the way everything is being handled atm. Character locked servers, servers that can't handle player loads, forums that are dying left and right. I know quite a few people that were all about this game that have literally said fuck it already, and are just done. Very soon im going to wind up being the only person I know playing this game. :/

Some straight 2004 shit right here. Havn't seen this kinda launch since WoW.
