Since you didn't subscribe during the legacy qualifying period (all 3 months) you're not legacy and you did not preorder the new game ( And why would you because you like me already own 1.0) that means you, like me, have to wait until the 27th to play, and that's why we get this message. It's working as intended. I'm sorry, I'm bummed too, but I can wait 3 days.

Yea I am in the same boat and they deleted my last post, I hit a nerve. I guess I will just have to wait till 27th like everyone else. Money isn't tight but I refuse to pay more for a failed product as in 1.0 so I will just wait to redeem my 1.0 to 2.0 and feel let down by the company yet again

It's only $5 for a preorder code from GameStop. You can even get the money back next day through a refund! Or get a PS3 version so you can play ffxiv at a friends house!
