I'm going back to Tera Online. I was hoping square-enix would change since this whole "remade ffxiv" thing was going on, but seems it's back to its old tricks.

I'm a Legacy 1.0 player who had an active subscription up until 1.0's end, participated in Phase 3 and 4 of the beta and can't get in. Only the following message:
No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
/sigh
same issue here. i have 2 legacy charachters and i cannot log into the game i get the "no valid or active service account is available to play FFXIV"
and tells me go to mog station but mog station is locked down till the 27th when full release is out........
played till end of XIV 1.0 , ARR alpha, beta phase 1-4, but now i cant do my EA??? I'm 110% sure im legacy character. i even got to xfer my legacy char to hyperion from the previous server. played my legacy char in phase 4....... this is bullshit i took this day off just to play the game and now sitting at home doing jack trying to figure out how to get on.
you are about to get your last $ from me SE fix this......

I guess we want to buy the boxed version and not the download though, because downloads can't be refunded. So is this also the only solution for Legacy status players, even on PS3? It sounds like it'll flip the Early Access bit to "true" in our Square Enix account status.Attention 1.0 Players

EDIT: I just tried this. It creates a new FFXIV service account. It'll give you the option to import the appearance of your previous character (in my case, from beta phase 4), but it'll make you otherwise start over from scratch. So, given that I have a pretty good Legacy character at level 37 (and a few level 15 jobs), a Goobbue, a Chocobo whistle, and a pile of money, I have to say "forget this!" and call Square Enix on Monday. *fuming*
EDIT: And the result is that I get error 3108, saying that my account is registered on another platform (Windows) and can't be used on this platform (PS3). I had started Legacy status on Windows, obviously, since that was the only platform at the time. This is incomprehensible.
EDIT: Solved. The above comment was basically right, but it was partially hidden on the PS3's screen. I had been creating a new service account instead of activating my old one, using the Amazon refund trick. Thanks.

bump so someone sees this. 1.0 accounts should be able to play on 2.0.
Same thing happened to a friend of mine. Had played for more then 3 months in 1.0 all the way up to the end of 1.0. Played in beta phase 3, but not 4, now today his legacy status/character is no longer on his square-enix management account....
Hey just wondering if people are still having this issue or did they resolve it
