3 servers already locked down less than 45 minutes after launch? WTF?

We are honestly not in beta. MMOs shouldn't get a free pass to give customers a bad experience. Problems like this have already been solved by other MMOs for years with overflow servers, alternate channels, or even a simple queue system.

This! A queue system would be better than just locking servers. My friends are making characters on other servers because they don't know if they ever will be able to make one on mine. Now what am I supposed to do...

Well, now the servers are all down for 3hr maintenance, so hopefully ppl can create on the worlds they want when they come back up.

i'm feeling with you! i'm hitting the refreshbutton every 3 minutes since 30 minutes after launch
but still no chance to create a characater there.

That really sucks, you should be able to make your char where you want, even if you can't login to the game.
