Never have true-er words been spoken, good sir.S-E needs to get the NA/EU datacenters up to snuff and fast. It's not instant gratification and it's not customer entitlement. It's common sense. Game reviewers are most likely reviewing the game at this point. It would be a very bad omen if, when reviews started popping up on respected (more or less...) gaming sites, there were mentions of localized connection issues that necessitated server outages. You think customers are harsh? Reviewers make even the most self-entitled customer look like a reincarnated saint in comparison.
I had a nice break but now I'm ready to continue.

no, not post count. im talking about the amount of characters you can have in your post. the limit is 1k. idk how many times it's redirected me to another page "your comment is too long, please shorten it to 1k characters"
so, my question is, how are people posting comments longer than 1k characters?
Taggerung if you post that edit it you can get more than 1k char.
Also why do they need 3 hours.. cant they fix the issue on there end than just do a restart? rather play with the DF broken than not play at all.![]()

And... to top it all off... the forums are congested. I'm getting page cannot be displayed just browsing the forums. It's also being slow as all heck... It took me 4 retries just to be able to bring up this post to edit this post.

I'm confused. Would people rather have the duty finder/instance server down for the next 3 days which impacts progression a whole lot or a 3 hour maintenance to (maybe) fix the problem?

How can people say nap time? My eyes close but no sleep -____-
I'm just making a 'when NA/EU are down' character on a JPN server - after playing FFXI for 8 years with no real lag issues, I'm sure playing on the JPN servers now won't be bad while I wait...plus, they may end up being up more often >.>
