when you click "place my order" AMAZON DOES NOT CHARGE YOU they simply verify that your bank account actually exists (you dont even have to have the correct funds)

then once again like I said before, WITHIN MINUTES youll get an email with a NEW EARLY ACCESS CODE

if you cancel it should still work, JUST TO BE SAFE

select (5-8 business day delivery) BECAUSE Amazon only charges you

WHEN THE ITEM SHIPS, so if you select the "free" shipping which takes once again 5-8 business days the estimated delivery is like Sept 3rd or something (more than enough time to cancel and or get your ACTUAL order)

Just did the Amazon thing and canceled my order before I even tried my code....Its working just fine! Thanks to whomever thought to do this! I can actually enjoy playing now.

S-E sent me a new early access code when I submitted a support ticket about this.
Do it the right way, don't create extra work for Amazon staff.

I still can't get mine to work... I've already grabbed 3 codes from Amazon and it is still not working. We are supposed to be adding the code on the SE website, not the FFXIV account management site? Because if it is the management site it tells me that code registration is unavailable.

Can we please get a response from the DEVs on this???

Thanks for the reply aswedishtiger.Your method worked.Unfortunately I was trying to do an instanced Quest and kept getting kicked from server.Then of course when I tried to log back on I was 3102ed.Then the servers went down for maintainence.So tonight I'll try again and see if Early Access still works for me even after canceling Amazon order.That was a tricky solution ,thanks again. Worst case scenario I still have a C.E. order that I didn't cancel. Should arrive the 27th. But other than that no concerns!

I have a ticket for this issue. I have not done the Amazon thing. Has anyone gotten word from anyone on this? Devs? SE? Anyone? How long did it take to get issue resolved with ticket? I have been waiting 4 hours now. Nothing.
