This will likely be the case with these restrictions, which is sad, because during 1.0, these forums were always active and lively. I loved coming here in 1.0, but with these restrictions, it's too much of a hassle and easier to discuss things elsewhere.

Yeah hopefully if they dont want to remove a post limit they will change it to like you can only post in 10 threads per day but unlimited posts in those threads.

Hmm... true. Your last post outside of the New Player section was once around 10:11 am PDT which was your first post of the day. What's strange is why it let you do that since it was your 21st post within these last two days. Something is really wrong with the code if it just gave you just 1 for the day.

If this doesn't get changed then I am just going to post everything in here even if its the wrong forum. Right now I am only allowed 3 posts per day and if its a bug report then I am screwed since I can't post it there. This new player help is just going to turn into a whole mess of threads that should belong in the other sections.

Yeah. I have heard people being able to make new topics since it's under a different allowance... So at least the code isn't THAT broken and probably easier to fix.

Haha. I think the ingame bug report has no limit as well. (Though website bug is limited, I don't know why).

Either way, I have no idea how SE thinks real discussion, interaction, and debate can happen with only 20 measly posts a day. Maybe JP community doesn't talk as much as NA community?? I'm not sure. Either way, I don't feel like much can be accomplished with only 20 posts, especially if a real debate crops up. Even simple conversation and discussing matters like this one takes over 20 posts.

I imagine it's to combat RMTs. They can't post on every section of the forum if they're limited to 20 posts after hijacking an account with a lvl50 on it. I'm fine with low level being limited for that reason but I think at least the high level accounts should have a lot more since they keep the community going outside the game.

Ah yeah I meant about the website since it looks like there are a ton of things wrong with it. Even if I had 20 posts a day.....it wouldn't be that helpful. It would force me to make 1 post and keep editing it to make it longer and longer so I can fill it with as much info as 20 posts would.

I've never seen an RMT post in these forums ever, so I don't think that has anything to do with it.

I really can't stand the post/thread limitations.

Even in the beta forums they severely restricted you. You're participating in the BETA, the whole purpose is to test the game and leave feedback, yet they only allowed you to make one thread an hour up to a max of three threads, and one post every 10 minutes, ON TOP of a 1000 character limit. How the heck are you supposed to leave feedback when they don't let you leave feedback?!

Now they're at it again. I have the 1.0 collectors edition but not legacy status, so I won't get early access. So for me the game doesn't start for 4 days or so. In any MMO I'm on the forums a lot, and I will be now more than ever since I can't play, but I can't even use the forums unless it's under New Player Help... RAWR, can you tell I'm frustrated? All this, and finding out I don't get early access makes for a bad day.
