Really hate Digital River. I was screwed out of the Ni No Kuni fiasco when I had pre ordered about 5 months in advance...and then and ebay account was selling hundreds of copies for 300 each afterwards...

Digital Rivers is SE's online store provider there should not even be an issue with availability. I have support tickets in to both SE and Digital Rivers concerning there Digital Collectors Edition because no where does it show up after entering your pre order code confirming when you receive your Collectors Edition items it shows the pre order items but nothing else. Which would mean that the Digital code we put in is nothing but to allow you early access and that the actual CD key will still be needed in order to continue playing the game after the end of the month which is the deadline that has been posted for people to enter there retail CD keys in order to continue to play. I swear I love the games that SE makes but it is a pure headache dealing with any side of there business model. You would figure a digital copy should go right through without any extra fluff but it seems that is still one more hoop that will have to be jumped through. When I get a response I will post it.
I get that and I am not arguing that logic because this is totally true. My case is that how this issue will be covered to get your item. I do not care if I have to wait till the 27th I just want to know whats up. If you spend money on a product you should be informed of the logistics of your product. Me especially I have three orders through them for my wife and I plus our friend. Why would the pre-order code have the CE items attached to it? Those items are attached to the product, and are not pre-order bonus items. They're not even CE pre-order bonus items. They've even stated in the agreement that even digital copies can be returned as long as it's verified that the registration code wasn't used. If people could just pre-order the CE digitally, get the digital items from the pre-order code before they even get the actual product (digitally), then cancel/return and buy the standard edition without paying the extra $, why would the digital CE cost extra?
Of course the pre-order code only gets you early access, that and the 2 digital items are the only thing that code is meant for. The product doesn't launch until the 27th, so the items shouldn't be available until the 27th (unless you already purchased the 1.0 CE)

Ouch they basically just screwed you out of $300-400. The Physical PC C.E. is selling for that high.

LOL I'm so glad I cancelled my order and reordered it from Amazon.
well if they are stating that they decided to cancel your physical copy that means that there WAS already a copy with your name on it, if they run their delivery service as well as their cancelling service then you should have no problem after things are sorted out. ~unless the owners son happens to be a FF fan asl well D:
Knowledge will make you free.
