Player repairs between players

Is it no longer possible to repair other players gear?

I'm an Armorer, and a friend of mine a Blacksmith, and we both play Paladins whenever we can. We always cross-crafted, and cross-repaired each others things.

Since phase 4 (didn't test in any earlier tests that I can remember), we've been unable to figure out how to repair other players soulbound gear. Is it a request you can make, akin to materia melding? Perhaps in a trading window...?

We tried, and couldn't find a way. Does anybody know if we can?

You can't trade the damaged gear because it's bound to you...
I didn't see a repair item menu option (just request meld)

The only thing I didn't try was /checking someone and seeing if I could repair what they were wearing.

This is something that was in 1/0 and it was stated in the Phase 4 notes that it is something that they will be putting back into the game its coming back please look forward to it

I tried using the /check and using the repair icon on a hotbar.

Thanks for the info I don't understand why it was ever taken out of the game. So annoying and expensive I'd rather support my local crafters.

I've just looked at the patch notes and could not find this topic just the new way to request melds. and that the vendors can now repair to 100% does anyone know when repair request from players will be available?
