


It's the same entrance she had in 1.0, so I doubt they'll be changing that.
One thing I really noticed during her entrance, btw, is how obvious the quality drop on her model and textures is when compared to 1.2x's, especially when the camera closes in on her as she descends. ._.



Not sure if serious or just joking but I'll answer serious just so players don't get the wrong idea. The devs have said jumping is not a combat mechanic and won't be used in combat situations. So jumping to avoid ground aoes does not work in this game. Trying to jump out of an aoe at the last second also does not work. The game goes by where you were at on the ground when you jumped and does not take into consideration your position in the air. Theres absolutely no reason to be jumping around in combat.
(also inb4 dragoons jump though. Not what I mean)



I remember somewhere that Yoshi-P said that he'd try to add some form of timed jumping in one of the battles (Can't find the interview where he mentioned it, but I'll keep searching), in the titan battle showcase in the "primals unleashed" video at one point, the AOE meter/thing is surrounding the entire battlefield leaving no opening to dodge or avoid, which can only make me think that jumping is important for once. (I do hope that jumping has SOME form of importance instead of being there for the sake of being there)The devs have said jumping is not a combat mechanic and won't be used in combat situations. Maybe I missed him saying that but the way the game engine is now it doesnt actually recognize your character is in the air. Only the point where you jumped from until you land. Its like you are still standing still in the spot you jumped.
