30 days of game time come with the game purchase. Its part of the purchase. Its on the box.

If you buy ARR, 1.0 or not, you get 30 days of free time.

The only questionable point is if 1.0 players also get 2 weeks free if they purchase. The commonly held belief is that they do.

yes because upgrade you 1.0 account to ARR collectors edition will only cost $19.99 at launch, so when they plan the incentives for new and old players for this relaunch they did't expect that someone will buy a new copy of a game that will get for free with 14 days of free play, just to get 16 days more. because if you think about it, that is illogical.

Your clearly confused on how things work and should just stop posting now.

If you purchase a new copy of ARR, 1.0 or not, you get 30 days free. You probably also get 2 additional weeks if you are 1.0.

yes.... they would never expect someone owning the 1.0 for PC to buy a physical collectors edition for PS3.

they would have expected it, as they told people to buy the game again to get early access if they didn't qualify for legacy.

there are a lot off threads about that. the code of the PC ARR CE will only apply for new account, the code of PS3 ARR CE could be apply to pc 1.0 standard account but only will get Items not the new come benefits.

heh actually, SE already confirmed that buying another platform will give you another free month:

    https://support.eu.square-enix.com/f...0&subject=free
"If you upgrade to a full subscription after the Free Trial ended and then register a license for another platform, the duration of your currently selected subscription will be extended by 30 days in lieu of another Free Trial."

so now we just need to have SE confirm that the same goes for a second pc edition

@Haistol, i didn't just get the new edition for the extra free time. I also got it for the early access

Since CD key redemption is disabled, no one can say one way or another.

This is wrong, as https://support.eu.square-enix.com/f...0&subject=free states you DO get newcomer benefits if applying a new ps3 account to your 1.0 account (if you mean the free month).

This is great news. Hopefully a second PC license gives the 30 days too, but I guess we have to wait and see what SE says.
