On our own time, we as players might choose to explore other classes and may even try to switch our mains later, provided the guild can take the addition of another of whatever class we are switching to and handle the loss of our class. Either way, leveling additional classes is never the goal of high end hardcore raiding guilds, and certainly something no top end gamer is even thinking about upon the release of a new MMO.
I couldn't have worded it better myself, further more, if you were in a guild that called itself 'hard core' and had to spend more than 12 hrs a week prog raiding, I feel bad for you son.

Since when does it matter what voice client a guild uses, Mumble is made by the same guys who made Vent. I use both, hell I even used TeamSpeak in my Lineage 2 days. If you can use it to communicate, and it sounds good, why wouldn't you use it... Thus far the only reason people seem to QQ about mumble is because they don't seem to have the aptitude to actually figure out how to configure it properly...

Actually since I'm on ps3 the whole mumble chat download is irrelevant to me. I've had just as much fun without the voice chat in the first place and it shouldn't become a requirement for anyone to be in a FC period I'm on Cactaur and its enjoyable how it is Now if you're on Pc and use Mumble more power to you but don't alienate the other players on ps3

Bud, I think you misunderstood the need for said 'requirement'. This is an end game progression FC; meaning we are going to be pushing end game content, HARD. Furthermore this free companies goal is to be #1 in progression on our server, which requires the leaders to co-ordinate the 20+ players of the core raid into one cohesive unit. Hence the reason for voice chat. As was stated in the description on the website by our leads, this ISN'T the FC for everyone, but if you're serious about wanting to be part of a top spot FC in progression, then it very well may be. You need voice chat to make sure your raids run smooth, especially on that level. The goal is not to alienate, but to ensure that the participants who are part of the core raid group are capable of communicating in real time, during the fights, to ensure downing the bosses. You just can't do that without a voice chat client. I hope this clears things up for you.

Furthermore, we have a handful of PS3 players, but they are held to the same standards as PC players. You can get mumble/vent/ts on your smart phone and listen to instructions during fights. There is no requirement to participate in said convo, just to be able to hear it, so that you don't miss an important mechanic.
