Hello – I have purchased the FFXIV – A Realm Reborn (PS3 Collector’s Edition physical) and was a beta tester for both the 3 and 4 phases. I received an Early Access code which was registered on the pre-order website, launched on August 20th. At this moment, I have received 4 e-mails with the same PSN code (2 e-mails from Europe and 2 from the USA) and I tried to register this code (several times) with the same results: either the code is “wrong” or “expired” and every time I try to register on the Square-Enix website I get the same code all over again. I kindly ask you to give me some guidance on what to do so I don’t miss the Early Access benefit which I have paid for and validate my access to the game on August 24th. Thank you.

Pre-order from amazon.com, get bonus code, cancel pre-order. Clear your cookies and cache then log on http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and try again.

That is irrelevant because you not going to buy the game, you just want the pre-order code. You don't get billed until the game ships, they send the code right away and then you cancel the order. Is not the most ethical thing but it is your ONLY solution right now. I wish there was another way. However, in the future keep in mind that Amazon did this favor for you and maybe buy something from their store.

Tomorrow 12PM PDT go to chat support or phone support, spend hours trying to contact them, get hanged up when is your turn. Try again, keep at it and eventually they MIGHT reset your pre-order code. (This is the typical situation most players are facing now, read some threads in this section.)

or...

Find someone with a NA PS3 code who is willing to trade for an EU PS3 code. This was feasible early on when it first happen, now the ratio of affected is about 10 NA : 1 EU
