Do i need to redownload the game for early access if I downloaded the beta?

I currently have the beta downloaded on my ps3 but with my early access code I was told to download the content again, Is this a must to assure that I receive my in game content as well as early access?

according to SE you don't but honestly seeing as how many things could go wrong, i just did, and erased the beta 4 client, as it takes me forever on my ps3 and i dont wanna be sitting and waiting comes the 24

You would have to redownload the game if you were still using the Phase 1-3 Client. If you played in P4 (open beta) you can continue to use that client.

I wondered the same thing before I registered onto these forums, I just deleted my P4 client, imput new code and DL. I noticed they are the same size. I just wanted to make sure I got my Pre Order goodies! Only an hour of time wasted on the DL I have the fastest PS3 in GMT.

The Client for Beta Phase 4 is the same that will be used for Early Access. You just deleted and Redownloaded the same 6451MB client. LOL
