1.0 Character Recreation issues.

We have confirmed an issue wherein players were unable the load their character data from the official benchmark when changing the appearance of their FINAL FANTASY XIV version 1.0 characters.

In addition, we identified several display issues with the editing screen itself. Due to these display issues, players may have had a difficult time changing the appearance and/or character name of their characters.

Therefore, we have decided to provide the following services.

- Provide a one-time character name change.
- Provide a one-time character appearance change.

* Please note that we will only be providing the service to those who encountered problems during the character change process.

We will follow-up once we have more information on the matter.

I am also concerned on how "qualifies" for the name/character change, as my account was also affected. I sent in a support ticket and got an e-mail that they would notify the higher-ups about it.

I'd like to know this as well, I wasn't able to import the benchmark data to change my characters appearance so i'm hoping to get another shot at character creation as well.

I too would like to know how to do so.. I had to make do with my getting as close as I could to my data saved look without having to access it. (And my memory is terrible... >>) While I can simply wait I suppose for the 30 day reward (I think) having to do so sooner would be cool.

I didn't get any kind of prompt or anything to recreate my character when logging in for early access. =/

Pretty much the same for myself as well, put in a ticket a bit ago and didn't really see anything updated on the matter. Thinking it may just be an issue of time, and it might just be easier for them to just go ahead and offer the service like they did to all who had data from 1.0 imported to ARR.
