I dont have too much of a issue with rebuying it, was just hoping I was good to go. I would just buy it from the SE store and add the account to this pagehttp://na.square-enix.com/us/. Is that correct?Unfortunately you do if you are not legacy, if you pre-order through Amazon you will get a code almost instantly and then you can register it with your 1.0 account. If you do this MAKE SURE when it ask you if you have an account you click yes and log into your 1.0 account before submitting your pre-order code. After you submit your pre-order code you will get another code from SE with a 20 digit code...Then submit that and you should be good.

Yep, that's right. I would look into the SE store though, I read a lot of post with people having problems getting their codes. It could be fixed by now but who knows.

Im talking with friends and they seem to think that I am good for release because I bought the game in 1.0. Is rebuying the game only for EA?

Yea the only way you get a free account and early access is if you are legacy (not really free since you paid the 1st time for it) but anyone other way you will have to buy the game for EA.

Right. But I was more wondering along the lines of the free account. I remember reading somewhere that 1.0 owners got 2.0, but for EA of course you had to preorder etc. I checked my account and I have an active service account..yet the client is saying otherwise. This is where my confusion lies...
