1.0 Character Recreation issues.

Did you guys see the news!
when you open the launcher there is a topic about those who missed up in creating their character due to problems encountered during the character creation.

For those who experinced issues when creating their character and could not link the character bench mark to change their V1.0 character will have the chance to re-create their character again!

I saw it, but I'm wondering if we have to somehow qualify for it. Mainly I wonder because of this line from the launcher news: Please note that we will only be providing the service to those who encountered problems during the character change process.
Would be nice to have clarification on that.

i believe they chose people who reported issues... if you have not reported an issue during b4 testing... mostly you will not get a chance to.

I reported an issue with my name, I could not change it the way I wanted. A GM told me he was putting my name in a list of people who have encountered this problem, but I did not get a second chance today.

I dont think anyone yet has had the chance to redo his character.

Uggh. I thought I was the only one!

I wasn't able to export my benchmark data to client either... Effectively ruining my character in the process.

That and I ended up in Ul'dah as a GLD when I wanted to be a Lominsan Arcanist! :[

I just submitted my ticket so I really hope I'm not too late.

Anywho! Any update on this? I've yet to receive any confirmation from Square Enix or acknowledgement via email.
