Question: Another non-FFXIV related question, but I was wondering about opposites. What is one thing that you adore, but that you continuously encounter other people being unable to understand that you adore?

Winter. I love winter. I love almost everything about winter. Snow? Bring it. We get a LOT. Last year the snow dump where the city puts all the snow they remove from the streets finally melted in September. This year it was 200 feet high in March. We got more snow after that. In fact here's a news story about it: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/daily...200928872.html. Cold temperatures? Rather have -30°C than 30°C. There is always stuff you can do to warm up, but only so much you can do to cool off. I don't have AC, so I have to rely on things like fans to cool off. Cloudy days? Less glare. Shoveling? Okay. This is one of the things that does suck, especially since we have to get our walks down to pavement after every snow fall. I love on a corner lot with lots of foot traffic. A lot of really packed down snow. Winter driving? The other thing that sucks. You would think that in a city that everyone jokingly says has two seasons: winter and construction, people would know how to drive on snowy streets. Everyone else looks forward to the summer. They think I'm crazy. They're the crazy ones.

I am not entirely sure what I was expecting by asking, anyhow, lol. I think I am just too afraid of messing the images up. I got the captions already written out.

Well perhaps you could steal an already prefabbed screen shot of scholar from the ones the devs have already posted? That removes the wait time on that portion. As for the scenery. Do you want a real world one or in game one? I know lot of us (not me) have taken screenshots of the environment because its so lovely. (again, not me XD)

I can't really think of anything in particular that I "adore" If I had to say I was fascinated by something, it would be the ideology of zombies. Anytime I see a zombie book, or game. I have to interact. Sometimes when I go somewhere. I make a note of the population of the area and escape exits, and make "what ifs?" in my head. "What if while Nii and I are at the movies, the rest of the world turns into zombie chaos? O.O"

:O How unexpected! It's absolutely lovely, thank you! You really brought out the eyes, definitely a key feature to her. :3

I'm soooo still on the fence about the hair though lol. >.< You were right about it being popular and I'm seeing the long hairstyle crop up on a lot of people's screenshots. Makes the decision so hard, but just as I said before I'll probably change it up pretty often once we get the barber feature. Doesn't change the fact that the screenshot glam is still awesome and still gonna be her look at least part of the time. ^^

Almost hate to do this last bit, but would it be much to ask if the last name could be spelled out al'Cyoene? (It's probably just on a text layer, right?) That would make it absolutely perfect. It's how it's supposed to look, but the game's limitations on naming get in the way. Once we get our chance to name change at launch I'll finally be able to get the apostrophe officially into my name, though I probably won't get to have the capitalization where I want it. If you can do that and want to go the extra mile you could even adjust the kerning on the oe to smash it into the combined œ character, but that would be going above and beyond. m(_ _)m
